36th America’s Cup Overture

MDH Hologram stunned audiences at the 36^th America’s Cup Overture event held in Cowes with a holographic spectacle of unprecedented visual impact. The design of the new America’s Cup yacht – the AC75, a ground-breaking foiling mono-hull was revealed in holographic form to an audience of VIPs. Implementing a gigantic 9m x 4m ICEMagic holographic screen at the prestigious event , MDH showed the past, present and future of the America’s Cup as visually stunning 3D holograms.

The event presented the skippers of the four teams currently entered in the 36th America’s Cup presented by Prada that will take place in Auckland in 2021.  This included four time Olympic Gold Medalist Sir Ben Ainslie of INEOS TEAM UK, Terry Hutchinson of NYYC American Magic, Max Sirena of Luna Rossa Challenge and the CEO of Emirates Team New Zealand, Grant Dalton.  This event was the first in a series of promotional events in the lead up to the Challenger selection series – the Prada Cup and the America’s Cup, which will use MDH Hologram’s pioneering ICEMagic solution.
