GBTA 2015 Conference in Orlando with NH Hotel Group

The GBTA – The Global Business Travel Association convention is the annual gathering of all of the premiere business tourism and corporate tourism organisations, and responsible for over 340 billion dollars in annual travel spend.

NH Hotel Group, one of the world’s leading hotel groups with over 400 hotels in 25 countries, decided to offer engaging holographic presentations to wow both their clientele, as well as their peers within the industry.

With a stand within the usual exhibitor’s hall, as well as an impressive Eyeliner system erected in the main entrance atrium of the Orange County Convention Centre, NH Hotel Group made vivid and lasting impressions on all who visited the GBTA with their outstanding and exciting presentations.

A keynote speaker at the convention, Nina Easton, a Fortune Magazine senior editor and who also co-chairs their Most Powerful Women Summit, appeared with other key figures from within the industry as a hologram to give  impressive and individual welcoming speeches to the attendees of the event.

NH Hotel Group was able to combine both these recorded holograms with live attendees from the convention, to make a statement on the future of business conferencing through the use of this exciting holographic technology.

Attendees were enthralled by the Eyeliner system along with the captivating holographic messages being shown during the 3 day event.

NH Hotel Group also used the Eyeliner system to show an interactive presentation featuring aspects of their hotels in the Netherlands: NH Leeuwenhorst and NH Krasnapolsky. NH Leeuwenhorst along with with other key hotels in their group, currently offer this exciting holographic technology by making it available for their clientele to book and use along with their conferencing facilities.

Conference attendees were invited interact and step onto stage to be seen in 3D virtual environments, as they were able to have fun pictures taken of themselves posing within engaging and entertaining holographic landscapes and surroundings.

Simone Buckley – CEO of ITM,  and Evan Konwiser – VP of Digital Traveller at American Express , as well as other key industry representatives supported NH Hotel Group with their impressive holographic testimonials created at, and also displayed during the event.
